We just launched 1.1.0 Core Update for Downtown Club!
The update is free for everyone and includes a ton of improvements to the core experience, such as better car handling, better opponents AI, difficulty selection for Events, improved virtual wheel interaction, and a ton more updates and fixes overall- you can check the full changelog here. It’s an essential update that makes the experience substantially more enjoyable for every player, and a perfect starting point if you were still on the fence about getting into Downtown Club!
The update is very late on our schedule and I’m extremely sorry for that, but I encountered many technical issues related to writing the opponents behavior. It’s been a daunting journey for the most part due to a total lack of resources to study from, but I will talk about that in a new Dev Diary, out in a week or so. What’s important now is that Core Update is out of Beta and available to everyone, so the team can get back on track to create new content for the game.
